Who is Richard Thomas?

Richard Thomas was born on June 13, 1951, in New York, Manhattan, to Barbara Fallis and Richard S. Thomas. His parents were renowned dancers with the New York City Ballet and owned the prestigious New York School of Ballet. He is 72 years old.

Richard inherited artistic talents from his parents. In 1958, at seven, Thomas began his acting career in Broadway’s play ‘Sunrise at Compobello’. He worked in several Broadway plays, appeared in various TV shows, and starred in many films. But his fame touched the sky when he starred in the television show ‘The Walton’. His portrayal of John-Boy Walton, a budding author, in the show was widely appreciated. The show was based on the life story of writer Earl Hamner, Jr.

He won an Emmy Award for his performance in ‘The Waltons’ and received another Emmy Nomination and two Golden Globe Awad nominations for the role.
